Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ScanFinder.ai platform, websites, mobile applications, APIs and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By creating an account, using the Services, or inviting others to use the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to bind your organization to these Terms. If you use the Services on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to do so.

2. Accounts and workspaces

• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• You may create one or more workspaces (“organizations”) and invite staff members.
• Workspace owners and administrators are responsible for managing roles, permissions and data imports.
• All activity under your account is your responsibility.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Services to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Upload, import or display inaccurate, misleading or fraudulent product information.
• Interfere with electronic shelf labels, store hardware or third-party systems in unsafe ways.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, abuse APIs or circumvent rate limits or access controls.
• Harass, abuse or infringe the rights of others through the AI chat or customer features.

4. Data and content

You retain ownership of your product, store and staff data. You grant us a limited license to host, process and transmit that data solely to operate and improve the Services. We will not use your data to compete with you or to advertise to your customers without your consent.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Some features may require a paid subscription. Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable unless required by law. You may upgrade, downgrade or cancel your subscription through the billing settings in the app.

6. Integrations

The Services may connect to third-party systems such as ESL hardware providers, POS systems or mapping services. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy or terms of those third-party services.

7. Service levels

We aim to keep the Services available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, security incidents or maintenance.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms or extended inactivity. Upon termination, your data may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScanFinder.ai is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Services in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or within the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where ScanFinder.ai is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
